What the label is
A category describes the style or profile a listing presents. It is not a rating: the site does not grade anyone or vouch for the label, so treat it as part of how the profile is presented rather than as a mark of quality.
Why it saves time on a trip
In an unfamiliar city you have neither the time nor the local knowledge to open every listing. Starting from a category narrows the field to people who already present themselves the way you are looking for. From there, the usual travel filters take over: how far she is from your hotel, what rate she publishes and whether she is free in the gap your schedule leaves.
What the label does not tell you
A category says nothing fixed about price or services. Two "Hardcore & Extreme" profiles can ask very different amounts and set different terms for hosting or traveling. Read each listing in full and confirm by message whatever matters most to you.
