This notice sets out what personal information mexicoscorts.com handles, why, who sees it and what you can ask us to do with it. It is split by role, because someone who simply looks up a few profiles before a trip leaves a very different footprint from someone who publishes an ad.

Who is responsible

The team that runs mexicoscorts.com is responsible for the data described here. Every request about this notice comes in through the form on our contact page; we do not publish any other channel.

If you are a visitor

You can browse the directory without an account and without giving us a name, phone number or e-mail address. An ordinary visit generates only the technical data described further down. We receive personal details from you only if you choose to write to us through the contact form. In that case we keep whatever name or alias you use, the reply address you give us and the content of your message, including links to any ads you report.

Calls and chats between you and an advertiser happen off the site. We cannot see them, we do not store them and we have no way to retrieve them. We do not know whether a meeting took place, in which city or at which hotel.

We use visitor data to:

  • answer your question or act on your report;
  • review a listing and remove it where necessary;
  • spot misuse of the contact form.

If you are an advertiser

To publish a profile, an advertiser provides what appears in the ad: a display name, the city or cities served, a description, photos, rates and contact details. That information becomes public because the advertiser chooses to publish it. We may also keep internal records needed to run the listing, such as its edit history and any messages exchanged with our team.

We use advertiser data to:

  • show the listing in the chosen cities;
  • handle requests to edit, pause or remove it;
  • look into reports of stolen photos, impersonation or banned content;
  • comply with valid legal requests.

Anyone who finds their photos or number in an ad they did not post can ask for it to be taken down through the contact form, even if they have never used the site.

Technical data

Like any website, our servers log connection data for every user: IP address, browser and device type, language, pages viewed, the date and time of each request and the page you came from. We use this to keep the site running, defend it against attacks and automated traffic, and understand in aggregate which cities and sections get the most interest. Statistics are reviewed as totals; we are not trying to single out individual visitors. Some of this information is collected through cookies, explained in our cookie policy.

Who we share data with

We do not sell or rent personal data. We share it only with:

  • hosting and infrastructure providers that keep the site online;
  • traffic analytics providers that process technical data on our behalf;
  • competent authorities, when they make a formal request under the law.

Providers may use the information only to deliver their service to us, not for their own purposes. Some of them may operate outside Mexico.

How long we keep it

We keep each piece of data only as long as the purpose it was collected for requires. Contact messages are kept until the matter is resolved, plus a reasonable period for follow-up questions. Listing data is kept while the ad is live and for as long as needed afterwards to deal with reports. Technical logs are kept while they are useful for security and analysis. After that, data is deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

Under Mexican personal data protection legislation, you can:

  • access the data we hold about you;
  • correct it if it is wrong or incomplete;
  • have it deleted;
  • object to a particular use;
  • withdraw any consent you have given.

Keeping data secure

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures against loss, unauthorised access and tampering. No system connected to the internet is completely safe, so please send us only what is needed. In particular, do not send ID documents or bank details; we will never ask for them.

Adults only

The site is intended solely for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from minors; if we discover such a case, we delete the information and any related listing.

Changes to this notice

If we change this notice, the new version will appear on this page with its update date. It is worth a quick look now and then, especially before you write to us or publish an ad.
