Escorts in Tijuana publish an hour at 1,500 pesos, the same figure as the national average. The resemblance ends there. What sets this city apart isn't the median, it's the floor. The middle half of escorts runs from 1,500 to 2,500 pesos, while nationally that band starts at 1,000. Cheap rates barely appear among escorts here. Below are the five cuts that separate the city from the rest of Mexico, one per line.
- the hour: 1,500 pesos, the same as the country
- the lowest quarter: 1,500 against 1,000 nationally, the cut that departs most
- the highest quarter: 2,500 against 2,000 nationally
- escorts carrying the Verificada badge: 39 % against 23 % nationally
- listings with video: 4 %, identical to the country
The Tijuana rate in one line
If it has to fit in one sentence: an hour here costs the normal amount, but cheap doesn't exist.
The median among escorts who state a rate is 1,500 pesos. On its own that figure misleads, because it suggests an average city.
The number that matters is the other one. Nationally, one escort in four asks 1,000 pesos or less for an hour. In Tijuana that same quarter begins at 1,500. Put differently, the rate that counts as low in the rest of Mexico is the ordinary rate here.
Something similar happens at the top, though less sharply: the upper quarter reaches 2,500 pesos, five hundred above the national figure.
It's worth remembering where this comes from. These are figures the escorts write in their own ads, and the final amount comes from her in the message.
Where half the listings sit
The 1,500 to 2,500 band holds the middle half of the city's escorts. For a city this size that's a narrow band.
Two small groups fall outside it. Below, a few listings with very low figures, which are almost always typing errors and not real offers. Above, the escorts who ask more than 2,500 and usually want a date arranged in advance.
That concentration has a practical consequence. Comparing prices in Tijuana gets you little, because nearly all the women ask something similar. What's worth comparing is what each listing covers.
Some vocabulary while we're here. "Con lugar" means she has her own place and the room is covered. "A domicilio" means she travels to your address.
What Tijuana does not share with the capital
Both cities publish the same hour, 1,500 pesos. Under that tie sit three differences.
The first is already stated: the floor. Mexico City has a lower quarter at 1,000 pesos. Tijuana has no such quarter.
The second is the verification badge. Here 39 % of escorts carry it, against 23 % across the country. That's the highest share among the large northern cities.
The third is where the women come from. The capital mixes Mexican, Colombian, Venezuelan and Argentine profiles. In Tijuana the offer is almost entirely Mexican. The median age stated in listings is 26, and everyone advertised is over 18.
Half an hour and 45 minutes
The short blocks work differently from what you'd assume.
Half an hour publishes at 1,000 pesos. It's the one block where Tijuana matches the national figure.
The 45-minute block publishes at 1,500, the same as a full hour. That isn't a counting error. It happens in nearly every large city: the middle block has no price of its own, so asking for it means paying the hour and using three quarters of it.
A simple rule follows. The city has two useful blocks, the half hour and the hour. The 45-minute one is worth skipping, and escorts who offer it tend to say so when you ask directly.
Three things to settle before you write
With rates this concentrated, a first message pays off more if it asks three things at once.
The figure and its duration. A "1,500" could be the hour or the half; in Tijuana it's almost always the hour.
What it covers. The room when the escort hosts, the travel when she comes to you, the extras already discussed. Two ads with the same figure can cover different things.
The payment method. Cash on meeting is the standard. A full transfer up front is the classic scam request.
Three questions in one message get answered. Three messages in a row often don't.
